(BNP) - On the afternoon of May 15^th, Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chien, Member of the Party Central Committee, Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the provincial People's Committee Delegation paid a working visit to Kinh Bac City Development Holding Corporation to acknowledge the business acitivities and suggestions from the Company.

The delegation includes Mrs. Nguyen Huong Giang - Provincial Party Deputy Secretary, Chairwoman of the People’s Committee and leaders of relevant departments and agencies.

The provincial leaders saw the model of Phuc Ninh New Urban Area.

Kinh Bac City Development Holding Corporation is the infrastructure investor of 02 industrial parks (Que Vo Industrial Park, Nam Son - Hap Linh Industrial Park) and Phuc Ninh Urban Area Project (Bac Ninh City). In particular, Que Vo Industrial Park has a total area of 611ha, including 02 phases of Que Vo Industrial Park and expanded Que Vo Industrial Park. Up to now, KBC has basically finished the infrastructure and attracted investors; occupancy rate reaches 99%. Accumulated to the end of 2019, the Industrial Park has attracted 364 FDI projects with a total investment of more than 2,700 million USD and 89 domestic projects with a total registered capital of nearly 8,700 billion VND.

As for Nam Son - Hap Linh Industrial Park, in 2020, the Company will start subleasing, negotiate and sign land sublease contracts with investors. At the same time, it will continue to invest in the construction of water supply plant and internal roads.

Phuc Ninh New Urban Area has a total area of over 136ha. Up to now, the Company has cleared 90 ha, leveled and constructed 90% of the cleared area and is urgently completing the infrastructure of the entire area that has been handed over.

At the meeting, in the spirit of inquisition, openness, Provincial Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of relevant departments and agencies listened and directly responded to the proposals from the Company related to site clearance  and compensation, clean water supply and wastewater treatment in industrial parks; the progress of the planning project and adjusting the operation duration of Nam Son - Hap Linh Industrial Park; worker housing area and adjustment of constructing synchronous infrastructure around Phuc Ninh new urban area .

Recognizing the efforts to overcome difficulties of the Company as well as the close coordination with government authorities in implementing investment procedures and actively participating in social welfare activities, environmental protection, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of the province, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Nhan Chien suggested relevant departments and agencies based on their functions and tasks to continue working closely with the Company to focus on solving problems within its assigned authority. At the same time, they need regularly pay attention to the implementation progress to promptly solve and support the Company to boost its business, promote economic development, thereby contributing to the overall development of the province.

Provincial Party Secretary also asked KBC to continue reviewing the dossiers, order and procedures of projects and assigning the staff to work with departments, branches and localities in a flexible, efficient, and regulated manner.
