Theo thống kê của Cục Đầu tư nước ngoài (Bộ Kế hoạch và Đầu tư), trong tháng 1 năm 2021, tổng vốn FDI vào Việt Nam đạt 2,02 tỷ USD; trong đó, vốn thực hiện đạt 1,51 tỷ USD, tăng 4,1% so với cùng kỳ năm trước. Cả nước đã cấp giấy chứng nhận đầu tư cho 47 dự án mới, điều chỉnh tăng vốn cho 46 lượt dự án và cấp phép cho gần 200 lượt góp vốn mua cổ phần của nhà đầu tư nước ngoài. Đặc biệt, KBC tiếp tục dẫn đầu trong thu hút đầu tư trực tiếp nước ngoài. Tính riêng tại các khu công nghiệp của KBC từ đầu năm 2021 đến nay, đã thu hút đầu tư đạt 1,23 tỷ USD (chiếm tỷ trọng hơn 50% của cả nước). Như vậy có thể thấy, ngay trong tháng đầu năm 2021, phần lớn dòng vốn FDI vào Việt Nam là đầu tư vào các KCN do KBC phát triển và quản lý. Các dự án đầu tư vào hệ thống các KCN của KBC tiếp tục là những dự án công nghệ cao, trong đó có 3 dự án lớn của 3 Tập đoàn công nghệ cao nổi tiếng thế giới: Một dự án đặt tại KCN Quang Châu (Bắc Giang) sản xuất, gia công máy tính bảng và máy tính xách tay cho thương hiệu nổi tiếng thế giới, với quy mô hơn 8 triệu sản phẩm/năm, dự kiến dự án sẽ hoạt động vào Quý 3 năm 2022; Một dự án công nghệ tế bào quang điện cũng đầu tư tại KCN Quang Châu với mục tiêu sản xuất tấm tế bào quang điện, quy mô công suất 3,5 triệu GW/năm; Và dự án đầu tư mở rộng tăng vốn đầu tư thêm 750 triệu USD tại KCN Tràng Duệ (Hải Phòng) của LG Display thuộc Tập đoàn LG (Hàn Quốc) - Đây là dự án sản xuất các sản phẩm màn hình OLED TV, màn hình OLED nhựa cho các thiết bị, màn hình LCD… Dự kiến, vào tháng 3/2021 sẽ bắt đầu triển khai dự án và đến tháng 5/2021 sẽ chính thức đưa vào sản xuất.

On the morning of November 6^th, the delegation of Long An province, which was led by Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc, visited and worked with Bac Ninh province to exchange and learn experiences in state management of industrial zones. Other participants in the delegation were Mr. Nguyen Van Ut, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Long An Provincial People's Committee and leaders of departments, some districts of Long An province. Previously, Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Mrs. Nguyen Huong Giang and leaders of the provincial People's Committee, departments of Bac Ninh province led the delegation of Long An province to visit and work with Kinh Bac City Development Holding Corporation and Que Vo Industrial Park.

On the evening of 15^th October in Ho Chi Minh City, Forbes Vietnam held the ceremony to honor Top 50 best listed companies in 2020. Forbes - one of The World's Most Reputable Magazines - evaluated and published the 2020 Rankings in June but due to the influence of Covid-19, the honor event took place after 5 months. KBC was named in the list for the 2nd time in a row in this prestigious poll.

In the morning of June 29, 2020, at Que Vo Industrial Park - Bac Ninh Province, Kinh Bac City Development Corporation (KBC) has successfully organized the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders in 2020. The General Meeting has approved Regulations of organizing The General shareholders’ meeting  by the form of online and electronic voting of KBC; Operation report in 2019 and operation plan in 2020 of the Board of Directors; Report on business activities in 2019 and the plan in 2020 of the Board of Directors; Report on supervisory activities in  2019 of the Supervisory Board; Audited financial statements in 2019 of the Corporation; Plan to select an auditing unit for financial statements in 2020; Remuneration plan for the Board of Directors, the Supervisory Board, and report on the salaries and commission of the Head of the Supervisory Board and the Management Board.

On 1^st June, Forbes Vietnam announced a list of "Top 50 best listed companies" on Vietnam's stock market in 2020. The evaluation of Forbes Vietnam is based on objective criteria such as the development, growth rate, sustainability and transparency of the business. This is the second time in a row that KBC is listed in “Top 50 best listed companies in Vietnam”.
