KBC CO-ORGANIZED A CONFERENCE FOR BUSINESS MEETING AND INVESTMENT PROMOTION OF BAC NINH PROVINCE IN SUZHOU CITY, CHINA

On September 14 morning, in the Suzhou city, China, a conference for business meeting and investment promotion of Bac Ninh province was taken place with the participation of nearly 400 delegates. The event was co-organized by the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, the Consulate General of Vietnam in Shanghai, China and Kinh Bac City Development Holding Corporation (KBC). Attending the event were: Ms. Nguyen Huong Giang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province and leaders of the province's Departments, Branches and Sectors; Mr. Nguyen The Tung - Consul General of Vietnam Consulate in Shanghai, China with Chinese Presidents, General Directors, investors and manufacturing and trading enterprises; Representatives of KBC attending were Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - General Director and several KBC leaders.

Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province - Ms. Nguyen Huong Giang emphasized that, on the basis of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and China that is developing increasingly well, Bac Ninh province pays great attention to promoting cooperation with Chinese partners.

In particular, Suzhou is one of China's most prosperous cities, with many large industrial parks, seaports and advanced production infrastructure with high-tech factories and enterprises along with beautiful landscapes and a dynamic workforce for economic development, thereby, contributing to promoting economic development and becoming the key of China's driving force towards innovation.
Introducing an overview of the potentials and strengths of Bac Ninh province as well as the province's preferential mechanisms and policies in attracting investment, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province emphasized: With a favorable location, safe and attractive businesses environment along with the successes of investors who have been investing in Bac Ninh, it indicates that choosing Bac Ninh as a destination to explore investment opportunities of Chinese businesses is the right direction, which creates many opportunities and potential for cooperation and development. We hope that Bac Ninh and Suzhou in particular, and other Chinese localities in general, will always be reliable partners, sharing and overcoming difficulties and challenges to cooperate and prosper effectively.

In the context that Vietnam and China are deepening reform and opening market, along with the outstanding advantages of Bac Ninh province and the economic potential, technology, and development experience of Jiangsu province, the two partners need to pay attention to and promote economic, trade and investment cooperation, and supply chain development. Through this Investment Promotion Conference, enterprises in Suzhou city can learn comprehensively and fully about the advantages and potential of the business and investment in Bac Ninh, thereby actively contributing to promoting mutually beneficial cooperation to continuously develop more deeply.
As a connection to promote cooperation, the Consulate General of Vietnam in Shanghai is ready to closely coordinate with government agencies and business communities of the two countries to actively implement the common awareness of top leaders, effectively bring cooperation between the two countries to new level and bring practical benefits to both sides.
During the investment promotion trip to China, KBC was honored to be selected as the company accompanying the leaders’ delegation of Bac Ninh province from September 10 to 16, 2023.
Bac Ninh province currently has 16 industrial parks being operated by infrastructure management companies. Among them, KBC is one of the largest and typical industrial park infrastructure investors in Bac Ninh province with 21 years of experience and reputation in the field of investment, construction, and business of industrial park infrastructure. Many large corporations in the world, including China which are famous on the stock exchanges, have invested in Kinh Bac City Group's industrial parks such as: Goertek, Lens, Luxshare, JA Solar, Yufeng, Yuto, LGE, LGD, LG Innotek, Foxconn, Canon, Hanwha, ... and hundreds of other companies from many countries and territories around the world, have been contributing significantly to the economic development of Vietnamese localities. In Bac Ninh province, KBC has successfully invested in 2 industrial parks: Que Vo Industrial Park (611 hectares) and Nam Son - Hap Linh Industrial Park (300 hectares) with a total investment capital of nearly 3 billion USD. Attending the Conference in Suzhou as a co-organizer, KBC representative gave an introduction about the industrial park projects and investment attraction opportunities to Chinese investors.

After hearing the introduction about the investment environment, preferential policies, investment attraction, development orientation of the province as well as the commitments and support of the Bac Ninh provincial government, Chinese enterprises and investors directly discussed a number of contents related to land and factory rental incentives in Bac Ninh; administrative and legal procedures when investing in Vietnam; Industries and occupations that the province prioritizes to attract investment; etc.

In addition, investors attending the Conference also shared and introduced the operations and production scale of their enterprises; appreciating the investment environment with many favorable policies and constantly improving administrative procedures of Vietnam in general and Bac Ninh province in particular, which will be a suitable place for Suzhou enterprises to invest in.
After Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong answered investors' questions, more than 20 companies asked to connect to directly survey Kinh Bac City Group's industrial park system in October.
Speaking at the closing of the Conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ms. Nguyen Huong Giang emphasized that in the coming future, Bac Ninh province will continue to call for investment to become a leading complete electronics manufacturing center in Vietnam, continue to be the main driving force for economic growth with industrial and high-tech development parks. Therefore, the province welcomes Chinese investors interested in investing in the province.
